Touchstone Health has a seasoned and accomplished management team with a long track record of leadership and implementation success.
John Randazzo – Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining Touchstone in 2005, John served as Chief Executive Officer of BenefitPoint, a company focusing on strategy and insurance carrier relations. For the two years before joining BenefitPoint, John was with the Health Care Group of Warburg Pincus, LLC. Earlier, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Women’s Health Connecticut, Inc., a physician practice management and clinical trials organization, funded by The Sprout Group.
Prior to that, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Value Oncology Science, a specialty health care provider funded by Warburg Pincus, LLC. Prior thereto, John was a Founder of Value Health Inc. and handled their acquisitions and product development.
Earlier in his career, John was Co-founder, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Managed Health Network, a behavioral health company now owned by Foundation Health. John began his managed care career with positions at CIGNA where he was responsible for product development, health care insurance acquisitions and technology investments.
John holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Texas and in International Business from Columbia University. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from the State University of New York.
Stephan D. Deutsch, MD – EVP & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Deutsch brings over twenty years of medical management experience to Touchstone. Prior to joining Touchstone in 2000, Stephan served as the Senior Vice President and National Medical Director of CareAdvantage (NASDAQ: CADV), a publicly traded health care services consulting and resource company that provides payors, hospital systems, integrated delivery systems, and physician groups with tools to increase the efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness of their health care services. Stephan was also the Founder and President of Occupational Health and Rehabilitation, Inc. (NASDAQ: OHRI).
Dr. Deutsch practiced as a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for 19 years after completing his residency at Harvard University and also served for two years in the United States Air Force. Stephan is widely published and has developed multiple exhibits that have been displayed nationally.
